Week 8

Not surprisingly, I have found this week rather demanding. We're nearing the end of the course and busy with giving our project reports their final form. Peer reviews are absolutely alleviating the problems related to our projects. I can't express how thankful I am to Dragana and Chandy for their valuable recommendations and also modelling with their own reports. Most of my concerns have disappeared, and my misunderstandings clarified.
As for the task of this week, I have prepared an interactive multiple-choice test by using hotpotatoes and I just loved it. Becuase such a task is new for me I had to spend minutes on even the simplist detail but the final product made me forget how I suffered :)
All these online tools and Anvill are just amazing and mesmerizing. I wish I could manage to employ them skillfully soon and add variety into my classes, increase student motivation and foster learner autonomy.

    Hi Sebnem,
    Yes, finalizing our projects is the most appealing activity in this week. As you said, peer reviews and checklists enable us to polish and fin tune our projects and project plans.

    For me ANVILL was a gold mine, a panacea. Itwill be one of the most ever used tools for most of us.

    Your interactive multiple-choice test is wonderful. You are already on the track. I didn't try it but it looks a little bit complicated. With practice I will be able to use it.

    I'm glad for you that you like online exercises, especially hot potato.
    It is an amazing week . I feel sad too that we are coming to the end of the course.IT is very fast.

    Hello Sebnem,

    Some say "Time flies when you are having fun". I am sure all of us have enjoy it very much for many reasons, not only the new knowledge Donna has provided, the wonderful people we have met, the great opportunity to share and reflect with others in our same situation; but for the motivation we all will carry with us when we finish this course and new friends we can count on.

    Hello Sebnem,

    Indeed the online tools are mesmerizing. I agree with you that we should be able to use them effectively in our classes, Our students are lucky. So are we by being in this course.

    I explored Hot Potatoes too. I should say that it is really effective and very useful tools for teachers.

    Hope to make the most of them!
